FPN Long Distance Championship to Feature NFT Digital Trophies
The Portuguese Swimming Federation (FPN), will deliver NFT trophies at the National Long Distance Championship, thanks to an agreement signed with LEVERADE.
The National Long Distance Championship will take place on February 25 at Coimbra, Portugal.
The Spanish company LEVERADE is the technology provider of the Federation and is responsible for implementing blockchain technology to deliver digital trophies.
Each digital award has a certificate of authenticity and ownership engraved in the blockchain for life. In addition, athletes can share the award through their social networks and demonstrate their achievement with the digital community.
About FPN
The Portuguese Swimming Federation (FPN) is the only entity in Portugal responsible for defining the mission, values, and objectives of national swimming in all its variants and its promotion and development.
FPN is based in Lisbon. It is a member of the Portuguese Olympic Committee and represents around 11,000 members.
FPN’s mission is to promote, rule, and command the practice and teaching of swimming and other aquatics activities on a national level, always defending the foundations of sports ethics and representing Portugal at its highest level at international competitions.

La Federación Portuguesa de Natación (FPN), entregará trofeos NFT en el Campeonato Nacional de Larga Distancia, gracias a un acuerdo firmado con LEVERADE.
El Campeonato Nacional de Larga Distancia tendrá lugar el 25 de febrero en Coímbra, Portugal.
LEVERADE es el proveedor tecnológico de la Federación y el encargado de implementar la tecnología blockchain para hacer posible la entrega de los trofeos digitales.
Cada premio digital tiene un certificado de autenticidad y propiedad grabado en la blockchain para siempre. Además, los atletas pueden compartirlo en Instagram y compartir sus logros con la comunidad digital.
