Real Federación Española de Natación, in direct collaboration with LEVERADE, becomes the first sports federation to enter the blockchain with the creation of its first NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), delivered this past weekend to the stm CN Mataró and CN Sabadell, finalists of the Copa S.M. La Reina Iberdrola Water Polo 2022.
The NFTs, which represent the silver and gold medals, as well as the champion trophy for the stm CN Mataró, are delivered both to the institutions and to each athlete of the teams that competed in the final as a reward, including MVP from the match, Simone Van der Kraats.
In this way, the RFEN becomes the first elite sports federation in the world that will award the club and the athletes with NFTs.
